I would recommend this product

Side zipper vents: These vents are the perfect size for backcountry style pants. Perfect for winter days outdoors that start cold and get warmer as the day goes on.

Suspenders included: A nice addition to these pants for outdoor uses because wearing a belt with a backpack that has a hip belt can be very uncomfortable. I also use them on my other Outdoor Research pants that have the suspender loops built in.

Ankle sizing: It is a shame these pants don’t feel right over snowboard boots. The vents are great for backcountry travel but not while splitboarding. For a more comfortable feel while splitboarding go for ski pants that have large vents. My personal choice is the Norrona Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Pants.
